One issue I did run in to on the first ride was constant overheating.Mach Z 1000 SDI spark plug information. There are 3 new NGK Iridium ECS version spark plugs available for snowmobiles. These are the same as the other ECS spark plugs which have chamfered faces where the ground electrode is attached by welding. Someone on this forum posted this past 2017/2018 season with an intriguing method of diagnosing a faulty Stator versus a faulty Voltage Regulator/Rectifier. I remember enough of it to work it out, but I'm looking for help to find that post.
