It was stored in my dads basement on the floor and the city storm drain backed up and put 3in of water into the machine. A 120V MIG welder turned all the way up will put out about 90A at 18V, around 1600W. Info please. I have a used lincoln sp-125 hd. I bought this for a upcomming thin-wall exhaust project. Thought id get in some practice for a while before i attempt the actual thing. By the way the 125 is pretty dam powerful. I am using .025 lincoln solid wire with NO gas as I dont have a tank yet.Jan 10, 2013 · 50 Post Thanks / Like lincoln sp 125 plus Hey yall... I just got an older lincoln sp 125 plus and the panel/door doesnt match. I believe it was changed. Its a wel pak 100 door but its not a weld pak 100. It doesnt have the tap amp dial like it suggests, it has the continuous adjustment knob on top. It works fine with my Lincoln Innershield flux-core 0.035" diameter wire on my Lincoln SP-125 Plus welder with the standard Magnum 100L gun. Plenty of extra length--easy to cut-to-length with side cutters. The 10-24 set screw that holds the original liner in place was too long for the new liner so I substituted a shorter one.Need some help with my "new to me" welder. I am having problems with my welder, its a Lincoln SP250 welder (ditigal version). I am getting a lot of sticking and "blast off" with weld porosity. The weld are are narrow and ropy, the gun are "kicking" back at me. I changed the liner, tip and nozzle. I am using .35 solid steel with 75/25 Argon/CO2.33 Post Thanks / Like Lincoln SP-125 - Not feeding wire I have a Lincoln SP-125 (just picked up used) that is now not feeding wire. The unit turns on, fan starts, and when you pull the trigger you hear a click as if it wants to feed, but nothing. A machine like a Klutch 140si with spool-gun is light years ahead of the Lincoln in laying beads down..I would like to have a SP-125/135 in my shop.Scott you did notice though that I cast a vote for the SP 135 over the MM 135.
